The Bearer of Bad News

I'm very sorry for the long hiatus, but I've been incredibly busy and, well, maintaining this blog isn't the highest on my priority list.

That being said, I'm sad to say my youtube account, containing a number of wonderful Jekyll and Hyde movies, has been terminated at last for copyright violations. I'm sad to no longer be able to provide any material there, and to lose the use of a youtube account in general, but otherwise I'm at peace with it.

It was only a matter of time, after all, since I had so many movies there, and only three of them needed to be noticed for it to go. It was great while it lasted, and simply knowing that while it did I was able to allow thousands of people to watch Jekyll & Hyde films & visual media who otherwise would not have been able to, and that a lot of attention and discussion was generated by it, makes me glad I did it. I regret that it was taken down, but I don't regret what I did. Sharing what you love, even when hardly nobody else seems to love it, is what fans do. Posting on youtube not only allowed me to share and raise awareness of the Jekyll and Hyde movies I love, but also to witness the love and appreciation others had for them too.

What will I do from here on out? Well, when I have time (which may not be for a while yet) I plan to go through my blog here and remove all the dead links to the videos that were on my youtube account. Then I will go on a campaign to upload and link to multiples copies of those lot films on video hosting sites. I also have a lot of other things I wish to do with this blog, but sadly this youtube development has set me back. I'll try to return here and upkeep it when I can.
